The WRAP - The Ultimate Immobilization System

SAFE RESTRAINTS, INC. uses the highest quality materials for each part of The WRAP.

  • All materials are fire retardant.

  • Buckles: Security covers for the buckles are made of stainless steel.

  • Bands: The same as those used by the military and meet strict government standards.

  • Carabiners: Made to withstand extreme weight and conditions.

  • Nylon: Used for the bands to prevent stretching. The strength of the bands is not compromised by stitching; only strengthened.

  • The 3" inch leg bands have a strength of 3,000 pounds per square inch.

  • The 2" tether band running from The WRAP to the harness has a strength of 6,000 pounds per square inch.

  • The leg wrap material is made of Texinene, which is a PVC-coated woven polyester. The material is tear-resistant and resists breaking down due to weather exposure or repeated cleaning. The mesh allows a more secure fit and allows some body heat to escape. This reduces sweating and some slippage.

  • The soft-cuffs are made of padded 3-inch wide nylon to prevent injury.

  • The WRAP, size small, is made from the same material; the only difference is the size reduction.
